What Can Chiropractic Do For YOU?

2010 December 9

what's in it for me?

The reason most people out there in the world do not have a great chiropractor on their health team is the same reason that 75 years ago most people didn’t have a great dentist on theirs:  they don’t know why they should (or what’s in it for them).

We all see the dentist for checkups and cleanings because we understand the importance of healthy teeth and clean gums for now and for the future.  That wasn’t always so - back in the day, people were as skeptical of dentists as some still are of chiropractors today.

I hope to help you non-believers, so you can take care of those symptoms bothering you and start experiencing more health and vitality a.s.a.p.  I’d like to think that if you knew what I know about your spine, you’d do the same for me, your family, or your friends.  When someone knows  something as important for health as chiropractic or dentistry when many don’t, it is wrong to keep it quiet.

1. Chiropractors identify and correct subluxations.

2. Subluxations are joints that have been misaligned and become dysfunctional.

3.  Subluxations cause damage to the nerve system (the system responsible for running and regulating the body), and depending on where the subluxation is, different symptoms can originate.

For example cervical (neck) subluxations can lead to headaches, migranes, sinus problems, allergies, or problems with the eyes, ears, nose, throat, thyroid gland, and shoulders, arms and hands; subluxations in the midback can lead to breathing and heart problems, digestion issues, gall bladder and liver problems; and subluxations in the low back can cause problems with the bowels, bladder and reproductive organs, not to mention the legs and feet.

4. Subluxations are caused by micro-traumas and repetitive stresses such as sitting too long, standing too long, working in awkward positions (driving, gardening, plumbing, computer work, etc.).  Or subluxations are caused by macro-traumas such as motor vehicle accidents, falls down stairs or on ice, sports injuries, etc.  In other words, LIFE CAUSES SUBLUXATIONS.

Is this you?

Because we all live in a very unnatural world with limited local, natural, fresh foods grown organically, but tons of processed foods, sugars, corn-syrups, chips, cookies, agriculture, candy, etc., I have a dentist and a toothbrush to ensure that my teeth stay healthy.

On the same note, because we live in that very unnatural world with limited movement, lots of sedentary postures, awkward positions in chairs at desks, with computers, sports traumas, and the occasional riding around in big hunks of metal that collide with each other, I have a chiropractor and an exercise regimen to ensure that my spine and nerve system (the system that regulates all other systems) stay healthy.

Anyone who wishes to be truly healthy must have a chiropractor on their health team.  Who’s yours?
